I’ve had so many clients this year take beautiful family photos and allow me to capture unforgettable moments I was proud to witness. Still, when the end of the year rolls around, so many people don’t think about going back and ordering prints. Yet gifting photos for Christmas is a meaningful way to capture moments in time and share your experiences in 2021.

Need some inspiration for how to gift your sessions from the year? Here are 3 easy ways to give photos to your loved ones this Christmas.

Print, frame, and give the gift of memories

Photos capture a moment in time, so I’m really not sure there’s a better gift than framing your family photos for the people you love most. Ordering prints and framing them is a timeless gift your family will treasure for years to come. I encourage my clients to order classic photos that showcase your entire family’s personalities. Consider who you’re buying for and what their styles may be. If it’s a photo for grandma and grandpa, would they like individual photos of the kids as well as the entire family? If it’s for a close family friend or a neighbor, they may want a family photo of all of you.

Don’t forget to frame the photos in the way that best matches your loved one’s decor, too! Whether it’s a modern style, a more traditional frame, or something a bit rustic, the right frame can make photos as Christmas gifts feel incredibly meaningful.

Give the gift of albums

Can’t decide on just one photo for someone you love? Albums are another great way to gift photos for the holidays. If you’ve had multiple sessions or opportunities to capture photos through the year, a photo album is a great way to share all of those images with your family. Albums make such fantastic gifts because they can stay on a shelf or coffee table while bringing happiness every time they’re opened.

Consider a gift card

Get on the books for 2022! The gift of a session is a wonderful way to ensure someone you love gets to enjoy a session of their own after the holidays are over. Contact me directly to get a gift card good for an upcoming session next year. I promise you it will be an incredibly meaningful gift.

Save on a print package

Interested in ordering? I’m offering a print package that’s perfect for gifting for the holidays! For $300, the package includes two 6×6 duplicate albums (one for you and one for a friend, with linen and leather options), five 4×6 prints, three 5×7 prints, and two 8×10 prints. Place your order by December 10 to get the photos in time for Christmas gifts (they’ll be shipped to you within 5-7 business days!) and save $50. Prep for your order by choosing from the heirloom album covers you are most interested in.

Finally, if you had a session with me this year, you can pick your favorite photos and order your cards directly from me this year. I have 14 templates to choose from. Holiday mini session clients, you can order them right from your cart when you get the email letting you know your gallery is ready. Order online now if you had a session earlier this year, but didn’t have a holiday mini session. I’ll send the proofs to you for approval.
